Hi Pete here, Just thought I’d give you a little update with what is going on at cPBackup.
Currently version 1.8 is used to separate out some of the common functionality we use in between cPBackup and the Dropbox module. This is so there is less overlapping code and will also allow for future modules such as Amazon S3 to be integrated a little easier. This means there will be a few more files but will ensure there is less bugs or gremlins that can appear.
We have also received a lot of feedback about the Dropbox module which we really appreciate, while there are still several issues we need to work out with it the next version should be a lot more stable along with providing better feedback to the user in event of an error.
Hopefully this version will be released into the wild sometime within the next few weeks. (Sorry! I can’t be any more precise than that). If you have any comments, suggestions or criticisms of cPBackup please email me directly at email@example.com. I will personally respond to you within 24 hours and I really do appreciate those who get in touch.
