1) Use the service lawfully
You must use cPBackup in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You must have the rights and permissions required to back up and store any data you send to us.
2) Prohibited content
You must not use the service to store, transmit, back up, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal or facilitates illegal activity
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware, ransomware, or other malicious code
- Is abusive, harassing, exploitative, or otherwise harmful
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) (will be reported as required by law)

3) Security abuse and platform misuse
You must not:
- Attempt unauthorised access to any systems (ours or others)
- Probe, scan, or test our infrastructure without permission
- Brute-force logins, tokens, or API endpoints
- Interfere with service operation or bypass access controls
- Access or attempt to access other customers’ data
- Share, sell, or publicly expose API tokens or secure download links
Use least privilege, rotate tokens periodically, and revoke tokens you no longer need.

4) Backups, restores, and downloads
You are responsible for configuring schedules/retention and for testing restores. If you generate download links, you must share them only with authorised recipients.
5) Fair use and operational limits
We may apply reasonable limits (e.g., rate limits or concurrency limits) to protect platform reliability and other customers if your usage causes harm or instability.
6) Support conduct
Do not submit sensitive credentials in plain text (passwords, unredacted tokens). Do not upload malicious files or malware samples.
7) Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP, we may warn you, request remediation, suspend services, terminate services, and/or remove access where necessary (including to comply with law or protect the platform).
